I've seen a chiropractor and physiotherapist but none of them have been able to find out the root cause of my back pain. should i see an osteopath?

1. Family MD 2. MRI : If you have had back pain lasting more than 6 weeks you should be evaluated by your family physician and they should order an MRI. If the MRI Is positive you will be referred to a neurosurgeon.

GP: There are numerous causes of lower back pain. It is difficult to reach a diagnosis without a proper examination of your back and abdomen. The back pain could arise from your kidneys, rib cage, spine or hip and pelvic joints. It could be due to inflammation from an old injury, arthritis or disc pain, hip bursitis, kidney stones - the possibilities are endless. You need to see your doctor first
