The CONS: are that eating dirt of any kind has NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE and can result in anemia (particularly Iron Deficiency Anemia) the PROS as far as I know are NONE! (Despite the many "claims" of benefits to bowels, joints, hair etc etc etc ) In my opinion NONSENSE! My Opinion only! Hope it is helpful Dr z

Why?: Though i'm no expert on this subject, i can't think of any advantages. And the disadvantages of eating dirt seem too obvious to mention.
