Try olive oil: Try applying olive oil to hair- cover with a plastic shower cap and leave in over night. This will loosen the nit (egg) glue. The oil will also suffocate the adult lice. Use a metal nit comb to remove the nits. You will need to comb out a small amount of hair at a time.
