Peculiar dosing: This is peculiar dosing. Chlamydia normally needs only a single dose of azithromycin (1 gram). You'll have to ask the doctor why s/he prescribed an extra dose. Are you sure the intent was not one dose for you and another for your partner? This is a common practice to assure partners get treated.
