Unlikely: If your took four 250mg Azithromycin then you likely cleared infection, but may still have inflammation. Did your partner complete course. You need to wait at least 7 days after both you and your partner completed treatment before resuming sex.

Should be gone: Any inflammation from your chlamydial infection should be gone by now. Treatment failure is not likely with azithromycin (4 pills, single dose) but is possible. Assuming you haven't been sexually active since treatment (aside from the fingering episode), the bleeding probably is due to something else. Return to your doctor for reexamination and probably chlamydia retestinng. Good luck!
