Prolonged headache: Usual self care for headaches includes identifying and treating the possible cause. If there is a past history or family history of migraine syndrome, there are specific medicines to try. If the problem is arthritis in the neck, a neck brace. For stress and tension, relaxation/massage/meditation can be effective. If severe or if other symptoms occur, do see a doctor for an evaluation.

Get examined: never ignore an unexplained ongoing headache. Get evaluated at ER or UC clinic-asap.
