Second opinion: To receive a meaningful second opinion, you'll need to see another local dentist who can actually examine you and the partial. From your description of the issues, it appears that a slight adjustment is needed. Call the dentist who fabricated the partial for you for an appointment.

Return To Dentist: It may be as simple a need to have the partial adjusted. If this is your first partial, it could be that you are not seating it properly and just need some help. It could be that the partial needs to be remade. Return to your dentist and explain your concerns. Be polite and understand they want it right too but cannot help if you don't let them know!
