Poss vitiligo: In vitiligo, thre is a loss of the the melanocytes, or pigment cells in the skin, and skin does not appear red or scaly. Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder and is influenced by the hormonal changes of pregnancy. It is thought that about 0.1-8 % of the population have vitiligo. This should not have any affect on your developing fetus, but discuss with OB at reg visit. See:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22126869
