A member asked:

Is eye twitching a side effect of zoloft? i recently increased the dose and have had this problem for 3 weeks afterwards.

Possible: It is possible that this is a side effect of the Zoloft but there are many other causes. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and take a multivitamin/multimineral supplement daily.

Lid myokymia: This type of twitching is often called lid myokymia and is often due to dry eyes (tears do not stay on eye as they should & cause a perceived sense of dryness of eye; meibomian glands may be clogged for instance), stress, caffeine intake, lack of sleep, medicines can cause it as well. See your eyemd to rule out other causes that are much less common.
