Control?: Thrush is more common in type 2 diabetes unfortunately. It is possible that you may not have your control optimised (what was your last HbA1c)? Sometimes it is simply bad luck but worth checking this with your doctor

Part of the disease: If your are overweight and have a lot of moisture you can develop thrush if with relatively good glucose control. Hygiene and drying power may help a bit.
