Took one 600mg ibuprofen friday at 6pm and had what appears to be blood in stool 6am monday morning but ate nearly a whole roma tomato last night at dinner so i'm unsure if blood or tomato? don't see pcp til 8/10/17. what to do in the mean time?

Stop ibuprofen: Although I doubt that even if ibuprofen is causing bleeding in the stomach , it would not show up as gross blood in the stool- but need to avoid it just in case. I suspect that at your age , hemorrhoid will be a more likely cause. If you are finding just a few spots of blood, it is not life-threatening and can wait till Aug 10. If it gets profuse, go to ER.
