Cerebrovascular flow: Many different reasons to evaluate cerebrovascular blood flow. A 4-vessel angiogram is meant to study both anterior (carotid) and posterior (vertebro-basilar) circulation to the brain. This can be to evaluate pathology, intervene endovascularly, or plan for open surgery in some cases.
