Hi. im an athlete. 19 yrs old. when i do max workouts, i will cool down for like 1 minute and then i lay on the ground to catch my breath. noticed that my heart rate stays at 140 laying down. it stays around 138-144 for about 4 minutes. max hr 195?

Cool down longer: Walk around after max effort...keep the blood flowing and the muscles moving to avoid cramping and lactic acid build-up. Max HR around 200 would yield a cooling down HR in the 140 range.
