Resistant yeast?: You may or may not also have a UTI. Yeast can involve the urethra and cause UTI-like symptoms. A few percent of vaginal yeast infections are resitant to all "azole" drugs; you may need a different kind of treatment like caspofungin, nystatin, or flucytosine. Discuss with your doctor.
