Watch + wait: Most ingested items pass naturally after some time. If you're having no symptoms then I would continue to watch + wait. The signs to look out for are abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, distension of the abdomen and inability to pass stool or flatus.

Crisis is in the bag: Pliable empty plain plastic passes thru GI tract without difficulty in several days. The issue is with the contents. If empty our foodstuffs that had not already spoiled then no problem. If spoiled then there could be food poisoning issues -cramped, diarrhea. Bowel perforation/obstruction if hard undigestible content. toxic substance could lead to overdose problems. All would happen early on.
