Consult doctor: Need to work out whether ear infection, or viral illness with middle ear congestion. Peroxide is fairly irritating to the ear canal and so will need to now check no further damage has occurred plus try and diagnose the exact cause of your ear pain. Recommend urgent doctor examination by practitioner licensed in your area.

Get medical exam.: Wax normally swells with fluid in ear. Peroxide turns to water as it bubbles and becomes water with loss of hydrogen. Thus you are adding water to ear canal and setting up blockage and or environment to breed bacteria. Result likely to be otitis media or otitis externa thus leading to need for medical attention and antibiotics.
