Blepharitis: Frequent Styes are often caused by an inflammatory process of the eyelids called Blepharitis. Daily scrubbing of the eyelid with special eyelid wash and application of lubricant eye drops can help reduce the problem. Occasionally antibiotic eyedrops are needed for which you will need to see a Dr for a prescription. Make sure not to rub your eyes and if you wear makeup, change out the products.
