Unlikely: A patient with history of tuberculosis is concerned about reactivation from a single dose of steroid used for management of asthma. The mycobacteria that causes tuberculosis is a slow growing organism. Assuming a patient has latent tuberculosis a single dose of a corticosteroid which has a short half life will have no impact on the infection. I would be concerned with extended treatments.

Mgt: It should be alright, but I would avoid excessive use of steroids. If you are allergic to a particular trigger, measures to avoid the triggers can be reviewed. Allergy immuno therapy can be assessed by your allergist.
