Insufficient data: An EEG is of no value in the diagnosis of narcolepsy. The standard diagnostic test is polysomnography with multiple-sleep-latency testing. If your doctor suspects narcolepsy, (s)he should know that; or if (s)he doesn't, (s)he needs to refer you to someone who does.
