Poor circulation: Swelling of the leg indicates that you are having problems getting the blood/lymph fluid out of that leg. Causes include pressure on the veins or lymph channels from pelvic fullness like a cyst etc; or previous damage to that leg may leave some scarring. Elevation of that leg and mild supportive stockings may help alot to control edema. If phlebitis(pain+redness), see md when happening.
