Cycle related?: Many possibilities - does sound like cycle related and the progesterone in the second half of the cycle can cause lower abdominal aches and pains. You may however have other causes such as some sort of ovarian or urinary tract problem or some sort of muscular problem among others. Recommend see doctor for examination - you may need some tests/scans to sort it out. All the best

Nonspecific: The symptom is nonspecific and more information is needed in order to make a differential diagnosis for you. I recommend that you consult a gynecologist for evaluation of your pelvic organs, and, if deemed advisable, an ultrasound can be ordered to look for any pelvic pathology. A referral to a gastroenterologist can be made to check for colon pathology as well if no pelvic problems are detected.
