What is the most accurate way to diagnose abdominal cancer or tumors?

Find & biopsy: Usually tumors are detected on imaging or endoscopy (stomach, colon). A piece of the tumor is then sent to the lab and we pathologists make the call. Whether it's worth the risk, expense, and possible radiation exposure is a decision your physician will make based on screening protocols and your symptoms and perhaps your preferences. Best wishes.
