It's Possible: Remember, an ablation is used to decrease the amount of menstrual bleeding and sometimes stops your menstrual cycles completely. However, it's not birth control and we usually only perform them with permanent sterilization. If you don't have effective birth control, check a pregnancy test ASAP. A pregnancy following an ablation is considered high risk and you should see an OB Physician. Take care
