Need diagnosis: "Critical" aortic stenosis- which requires valve surgery to alleviate symptoms- usually doesn't occur until the aortic valve area (AVA) is less than 1 cm^2 (& usually around 0.7 cm^2). In your case, "getting winded very easily" requires a diagnosis. Is it from deconditioning (lack of regular exercise)? Asthma? Another medical condition?
