Nitrates will all: cause this vasoreactive response. Perhaps your health care provider could adjust your maintenance therapy (beta and calcium blockers) so that you won't have angina and thereby not need NTG.

But regardless of age, if febrile and that child isn't acting well, then you need to contact your doctor asap.
