A member asked:

Past couple of months it seems veins on my palm have become progressively bluer and more visible. 37 years old, should this worry me or is it normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Palm veins: Veins in the palm are not usually very prominent but bluish color is not unusual. If your vein prominence in both hands are equal and if the veins on the back of your hands normally collapse when you raise your arms shoulder high, you have no worries. Otherwise consult your physician for evaluation.
