No risk, no worries: In the US in the past 50 years, important medical consequences from dogs are very rare, esp. assuming the dog is properly vaccinated. The main risk is wound infection if bitten. Parasitic infections from dogs are very rare and ingesting bird droppings doesn't raise the risk. Anyway, for every time you know this happened, it probably occurred 10 other times as well. Nothing to worry about!
