Not recommended: In conventional medicine this would not be recommended as a treatment. One of the issues is the risk of rebound weight gain once a diet is finished and some can put patients at risk of nutritional and electrolyte disturbances. Tend to therefore recommend slow changes to eating habits that create slow but longterm improvements. Recommend see dietician or primary care physician to take further

Bad eating habits: MAY be the root of your situation. Please see your doc who may check your thyroid and other levels to see what is happening w/metabolism. After that a nutritionist may be helpful. Ask one of these pros about a low carb food plan. Peace and good health.

Wise up: The "cleanse" can end you in the hospital and will do nothing whatever to help you lose weight except by making you sick. You're an adult now. Haul yourself over to the gym, start exercising, get a new circle of friends who are athletic and who eat sensibly, and hang out with them. Eat only to satisfy hunger, and avoid very sugary, greasy and salty stuff. It'll help & you'll be happy.
