HSG not HCG: You had a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) showing that the Fallopian tube was open not a hCG which is a pregnancy test hormone. If that tube is indeed open, you can get pregnant so use contraception if you do not desire pregnancy at this time. Tied Fallopian tubes can put themselves back together again between 1/800 to 1/10,000 cases depending upon how they were initially interrupted.
