I took zyrtec last night to help w/itch &redness of poison ivy, but haven't seen much difference. should i have by now or does it usually take longer?

Itch better in 1 hr : Cetirizine ( Zyrtec) is an antihistamine that will help with the itch but not the redness or blisters. You will need to get Hydrocortisone cream to help with that and it will take many days for it to heal.
