Not a problem: Dogs and humans have many millenia of close association and other than the occasional dog bite, there is little disease transmission. Your eye has excellent disease prevention and will wash out anything unwanted automatically with no extra help. Even if your dog were sick, canine pathologic organisms are not adapted to infect humans.
