Manometry: See below - sore throat is a known side effect after https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/esophageal-manometry-test Sounds however like you are having chest pain which isn't listed as a typical symptom and in a 52yo male would be very important to rapidly exclude serious cardiac (heart) or respiratory (lung) causes. Recommend urgent assessment by a doctor licensed in your area.

Esophageal Manometry: Why don't you ask the doctor who performed the procedure. He/she would want to know if you are having any problem.
