Unliikely.: These are excellent medicines to help stabilize mood in people with certain psychiatric disorders. Fatal brain damage from them is incredibly rare. It's more likely to have a shorter life from complications of the disease itself if left untreated than from medicines treating and controlling the condition well. If they're working for you, don't stop them.
