Abdominal pain: Abdominal discomfort in that area could be due to gastric or duodenal ulcer, gastritis, pancreatic pathology or left upper colon pathology. Have blood tests ruled out pancreatitis? Abdominal us or ct scan may not show gastritis or ulcers. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you as appropriate tests, including possible endoscopy, will be ordered.
