A member asked:

I was shining my mobile flash into my eyes for 5 minutes from 5cm distance to check my pupils after concussion. could i cause any permanent damage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Did you experience a closed head injury causing loss of consciousness, alteration of memory, or a combination of both? If not, you did not have a concussion. Doubt your light damaged your eyes. But if you are concerned of potential brain damage from an injury, contact your physician.
