I am a college student and i need a thyroid lobectomy for a benigh nodule. how long will the surgery keep me away from school?

This should: be answered by your surgeon, however, the recovery is quite fast, the incision generally small and as long as no complications stitches out in less than 2 weeks. You should count upon about a week for recovery from anesthesia and decreased wound pain! PS Why not do it duriing vacation????just sayin....
