Not a great idea: Hi To maintain efficacy of any such medication, it is essential that it is taken daily to maintain steady blood levels. Therefore, ideally you should take it daily. Hope that helps.

Every other d Prozac: Every other day Prozac could be ok. Consult w your doctor. Prozac has a long life so while every other day may create uneven blood levels if 20 is doing the job maybe 10 will also be effective - ask your doc to Rx 10 mg size for daily use.

Prozac's half life: Prozac is a medication with a very long half life (how long it takes for the medication to be metabolized buy your system) so technically ever other day should be okay after you have been on it for some time. However, why not simply take 10 mg daily?
