YES!: You should absolutely be treated. I am surprised that whomever did the test did not treat you. Any sexual partners are at risk. Please visit your local health department, urgent care, primary care, or emergency department for proper treatment. It's very easy to cure, no matter how long you've had it. And please tell any sexual partners over the last 5 months: they need treatment, too.
