Adenoids: Can rehypertrophy, esp in allergic patients although not rapidly. Some patients benefit from inhaled nasal steroids, e.g. flonase, nasacort, etc. Can be reduced in size with short course of prednisone. Cannot be completely removed like tonsils because no capsule.
