Consult prescriber: Citalopram + amitriptyline can increase risk of rare serious serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excess sweating, shivering, shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm/stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Severe case may include coma and death.
