Had kidney transplant 4yrs ago.for 9 months am suffering from urinary tract infection having uribid 1 daily also skin has darkened too much why advice?

Look for other cause: Kidney transplant patients are at increased risk of urinary tract infection, but should usually respond to treatment, not having persistent infection for many months. If you take the antibiotic regularly (not skipping doses), it may be time to look for causes like bacterial resistance to the drug, possible forgotten stent (plastic tube), stones or other problems. May need cystoscopy by urologist.

Make sure your : Nephrologist knows what is happening. You are particularly vulnerable because you pnlu have one working kidney.
