I keep getting sporadic stabbing pains in the same spot in my right quadricep. it can happen anytime, lasts for a few seconds and makes me scream out.?

Spasm?: Etiologies include underlying abnormality of the bone or muscle, a spasm, partial tear or referred pain from another site such as your back. If pain does not respond to gentle stretching, rest, ice and nsaids then proper evaluation is waranted. Get some basic xrays and see your doctor.

Nerve or muscle : It can be a neuralgia (meralgia paresthetica) or musce hernia. More detailed history and physical examination are necessary.
