Many possibilities: Infection could certainly cause diarrhoea, for example giardiasis can be prolonged diarrhoea as well as inflammatory bowel conditions and other more serious disorders of the bowel. Needs an examination by a doctor and you may need tests (stool sample, bloods and sometimes scans etc). Advise seeing a doctor licensed in your area to take things further and get to a diagnosis. Good luck

Several reasons: There are several possible reasons for frequent diarrhea. Reasons can range from being benign lactose intolerance to a more severe alarming condition. Factors such as intended weight loss, fevers, bloody stool will help play a role in the diagnosis. Keep a food diary and take note if there are any particular foods that trigger diarrhea. You will need to see a physician for further evaluation.
