May be ok: If this is the first 2-3 months of a new birth control pill, then it's common to have some break through bleeding while you get used to it. If you are sexually active, I always like to check for Chlamydia, because that can also cause irregular bleeding. If that's not a concern, then I would probably just wait until the next cycle to see if it happens again before worrying. If persistent, see GYN.
