A member asked:

How can you tell that a kidney stone is on the move?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Colic: Movement of the stone within the kidney may not be perceptible. If it moves through the ureter, it will cause excruciating pain, colic. If you think you have stone, it would be prudent to consult a doctor. Drink enough water every day so that your urine is mostly colorless, to facilitate the passage of stone and to prevent new ones from forming.
