No proven benefit.: Diatomaceous foods contain silica, which (aside from its "discovery") is very controversial. There is no evidence that it provides any health benefit. While it "supposedly" was researched by Adolf Butenandt, he received the Nobel Prize for work on sex hormones, not silica. Save your money. Keep taking your medications. Stay healthy & active. Use the diet prescribed for your condition. Good luck.
