Ive been coughing for a week, phlegm.. been given steroids, and antibiotics haven't helped.

May need an inhaler: You may have bronchitis, which is caused by a viral process. Sometimes, I prescribed an inhaler with a steroid and another medication to reduce coughing (LABA). Another possibility is that the antibiotic used was not effective for the bacterial cause. My suspicion is it may be more the former, but you have to work with your doctor on this.
