My friend has a hickey on his neck and its bright red and has a lump on it, what should he do? and what is going to happen to him?

It will resolve.: If this is truly a hickey caused by kissing/sucking, it will resolve just like a blood blister or bruise that causes broken blood vessels. Keep it clean and protected. If no apparent cause, get it checked to confirm diagnosis.
