Contact dermatitis : Red itchy bumps are often caused by an allergic reaction, such as insect bites or contact with chemicals/substances as in contact dermatitis. Another condition is dyshydrotic eczema which presents commonly with small fluid filled blisters. Cause is unknown but may be related to allergies or stress. Rare autoimmune diseases such as granuloma annulare may also present similarly.
