It may not be very: comfortable but there is no specific restriction for this procedure. You will receive some twilight anesthesia so potentially this could be a reason to wait as well as the potential to infect the operators and nurses doing your procedure. If it is elective it would probably be in the best interest of everyone involved for you to wait until you are back to full health.
